Elastic Cord, Round, White, 1mm

This 1mm, White Elastic Cord, is composed of one or more elastic strands forming a core, usually covered in a woven nylon or polyester sheath.

The sheath does not materially extend elastically, but it is braided with its strands spiraling around the core so that a pull causes it to squeeze the core.

Manufactured from high strength textured Polyester yarn and natural extruded rubber. The hard-wearing material has a soft texture yet is extraordinarily strong and easy to tie a knot.

Mainly used within the textile industry to label new garments with swing tags, but also has many other uses. It has a quality of being stretched and then returning to its original shape and length.
